Terms of Service

Welcome to The Axiom Project (theaxiomproject.org, the "Platform"), operated by The Axiom Project LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet this age requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You may not share your account with others or maintain more than one account per person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use

Use of the Platform is also governed by our separate Community Guidelines, which describe expected member conduct in more detail. In general, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members
• Post illegal content, or content that infringes on the rights of others
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to circumvent our moderation systems
• Spam, or use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes

We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, edit, or remove any content, and to suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion, for violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit — including Feed posts, comments, forum topics, and catalogue entries (such as creature, base, or location submissions). By posting content, you grant The Axiom Project a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, store, and moderate that content as part of operating the Platform.

Attribution: where our Platform allows you to submit content on behalf of someone else (for example, crediting another player as the original discoverer of an in-game find), you confirm that you have the right or permission to do so.

Moderation: all user-submitted content is subject to review and approval through our moderation systems before appearing publicly, and may be edited or removed afterward in accordance with these Terms.

5. Communities

The Platform allows the creation of member-run Communities. Community leaders may set additional internal rules for their own Community, provided those rules do not conflict with these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Platform-wide moderation authority always takes precedence.

6. Premium Subscriptions

The Platform may offer optional premium features in exchange for a paid subscription. If we do, payment will be processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor (see our Privacy Policy). Subscriptions may renew automatically; you may cancel at any time through your account settings, and cancellation will take effect as described at the time of purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

The Axiom Project name, logomark, and other branding are the property of The Axiom Project LLC. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us with details of the material and your ownership claim, and we will review and respond appropriately.

8. Independent, Unofficial Platform

The Axiom Project is an independent, fan-operated community platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the publishers or developers of any game represented on the Platform, including but not limited to Hello Games, Pocketpair, or Take-Two Interactive/Rockstar Games. All game names, and any associated trademarks, are the property of their respective owners.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Axiom Project LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict of law principles.
